The six main characters want to be alone and avoid other people. The characters are eyes who are aware of each other's activities, but avoid making eye contact with each other. When a kingfisher is spotted by the river the characters find themselves sharing a moment together during bird watching. The eyes of the strangers meet and there is a tiny little fraction of a nod in the air. So tiny that no one can prove that anyone said hello.

The short animation is a master's thesis film of Anni Sairio and Joonatan Turkki. The film won the best national short animation prize in Animatricks festival 2o23.
